Late start and leisurely itinerary – for many paddlers, it was the perfect trip.

Have you got a yearning while overseas to hire a real sea kayak and explore on water where you are? Then look Dane up at;

A small team of paddlers explored Fiordland’s remote coastline, launching from Milford Sound and venturing south along dramatic cliffs and secluded beaches.

On this trip I was keen to visit Tarahiki Island, which sits in the Firth of Thames east of Pakatoa. This photo of Tarahiki was taken several weeks earlier, (from Rotoroa Island).

A late afternoon session soon provided all the ingredients for sheer Angling Euphoria as I started hooking and landing 5 big snapper.
